Waycross and Golden Isles Announce Two Major Events February 11th and 12th, 2012

There are 4 guys on there that are listed as being at Screven. That is exactly why these tracks need to try and work together. Im sure Team 0 will be at Waycross.

Best case scenerio would be if WOO cars go to Screvin and Lucas cars go to Waycross. I Know it would be great to have everyone together to start the year, but we will just have to play the hand we have been dealt.

with big teams heading to florida for two whole weeks of racing,

why would any team with good sense travel to a couple of motor killing half miles in waycross and

gis where they are liable to hand grenade their engines before they even get to florida.

yeah we keep hearing the tracks are shortened or are going to be shortened,

but anybody with any real sense of what toll those two tracks take on engines know that isn't gonna make much difference anyway.

i dont think that the waycross race will draw many travelers at all especially with a 20 grand to with

race at screven on the schedule already and it might even be a long shot that the waycross race

will even happen.

seems to me that there is something stinky in the mix like there are some folks trying to go against

the screven deal and i just dont see many traveling fans go to waycross on their way to florida,


and for that matter after two nights in screven and two weeks ahead of them in florida golden isles

might not draw anywhere close to the cars that some people are thinking and fans,


well that is yet to be seen but it just appears to be way to much stuff going on that conflicts with

travel, costs and the chance that teams may lose engines and equipment before they even get to florida where points races are on the line.


this whole thing is just making it tough for the fans and racers and i wonder who is really behind

the curtain of putting on these races in waycross and gis? seems like a mystery promoter who is

using some puppets to pull their strings

Cross over

There is not a lot of cross over. I would bet a coke that woo race will be almost all woo guys and maybe 1-4 Lucas cars.

Its really simple, screven will be mostly woo cars, waycross will be mostly lucas and local guys,enough cars and fans for both to have a great shows.
Golden isles Feb 12 will be crossover, definately looking forward to that show,
since neither series has an event.
Then as we head south, east bay will be all lucas, brp will be woo,for that week then again
crossover at volusia,the following week.

The best new combo is Superman with clint bowyer racing.
He will be at waycross and gis , probably racing against team zero.
Ease up high maint, this doesnt have to be a contest, there are enough cars
and fans for both places and gis will get cars that raced at both.
The following week its the same thing, WOO at BRP and Lucas at East Bay.
Same thing, more than enough fans and cars for both.
I would like to see the lucas guys at east bay, but BRP is much closer and
thats what applies here as well, i wouldnt mind hitting screvin, but waycross
is so much closer, alot of people consider this.

HighMaintenance, you have your own thread promoting the screven event, which you are definately doing,
but you really dont need to get into this thread which is promoting waycross/golden isles.
Both places are going to have good shows I hope, but your overdoing it.
I wish we could get your promoting going with the UDLMS and NLMS !
If I had the time ,I would probably hit screvin for the friday night NLMS show, then
waycross sat night and golden isles sunday.That would be a weekend, am i right?
ease up a bit tho, you dont want me on your thread daily promoting waycross and
golden isles just to make a point.

After visiting the waycross track on Saturday I would be surprised if there is a race there on the 11 th. there is a lot of work to be done in less than two weeks.

they could always have a one day 20k or 15k event at gis on sunday, so the drivers can go run screven
