OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION
USDCS-United Super Dirt Car Series
NICHOLASVILLE, KY
APRIL 15, 2012
The United Super Dirt Car Series (USDCS) www.usdcs.com would like to announce the rules and schedules for the Lucas Oil Super Dirt Car Challenge at Corbin Speedway in Corbin, KY. Dirt cars racing on asphalt… Who would have thought? CJ Rayburn actually holds the track record in a Super Late Model Dirt Car. The race is Saturday, May 5th.
The following is the schedule of events for the first race:
4/22/2012-Sunday Corbin Speedway Corbin, KY 1pm - 5pm Practice
4/29/2012-Sunday Rain Date if 4/22 cancels-Corbin Speedway Practice
5/4/2012-Friday Corbin Speedway Corbin, KY Gates open 5pm Practice
5/5/2012-Saturday Practice 12-4 Practice
5/5/2012-Saturday Lucas Oil Super Dirt Car Challenge $3,000
Corbin Speedway in Corbin, KY
The series has 2 title cash sponsors for the 2012 season. Glenn Auto Mall in Lexington, KY and T&K Trucking in Columbus, IN. We are starting our season with $8000 in the driver’s points fund. Double points will be given for the first and last race of the season.
Rules:
• Standard Engine Weight Rules Apply
• All cars must weigh UNDER 2500 pounds prior to starting the race
• Scuff asphalt tires will be used for the race
• Any scuff tire comparable to a Goodyear D2902 –Medium to hard
American Racer-Jeff Treece has the above tires available for $25.00 each
