LAMAR SCOGGINS BACK IN BLACK at BOYD's VICTORY LANE
Chattanooga, TN (5/11/12) --- After a few weeks subbing Lamar Scoggins of Georgetown, TN was back in black and back in Victory Lane in Boyd's Speedway Late Model division Friday night. The #32 "M&S Motors, Chattanooga Auto Auction, Chambers Equipment Sales, Bodies by Rick Hixson Fabrication, Outlaw Racing Graphics, Competition Racing Equipment, Gene's Racing Parts" sponsored GRT / Race Engine Design powered driver blew a motor back in mid-April, therefor drove a few races for Richard Austin's #A19 raceteam. Scoggins and former Cleveland Speedway Track Champion Dewayne Powell were the nights FRONT ROW JOE's for the Late Model feature and would be all from the CAT-BIRD's SEAT as Scoggins took command. Friendsville, TN's Mike Weeks chased Scoggins after passing Powell for second but couldn't catch the BLACK BEAUTY. Scoggins will be going for BACK TO BACK wins on Saturday as the hometown driver plans to race Cleveland's Special $1,200 to-WIN LLM/Crate TENN MEMORIAL. Results for the BOYD's LM race were not available at presstime.
