Josh sure was on a rail at the Butterball, running high and low wherever he wanted. Looked like Greg Johnson was just as fast towards the end of the feature but could not reel in the 41. Anyone else notice the smoke haze coming from McGuires car in the heat race, i sure didnt think it was gonna run for 50 laps, then the smoke just went away. Also the biggest crowd I ever remember seeing at Richmond, the track was really racy, no long lines at the concession stands and you can actually hear the PA system. The only down side was how late the show ran, thinking they should not have qualified the modifieds.

          Butterball

I agree with not qualifying the mods. That took way too much time. We also didn't like the pre-lap before starting their 2 laps to qualify> if you add all of those laps up it took a lot of time. We really enjoyed the facility for our first time there. The top row reserved seats set up for bag chairs is the coolest thing I've seen in a while. The track prep was dead on / a great field of cars / Great track food at a very good price. I wore my Josh McGuire shirt which I got signed and then he kicked butt. One fun night all except walking in the doo in time for breakfast. Speed it up next year guys. Congrats Josh!!!!! You deserve it

One of the biggest things that took too long in my opinion was just having 1 wrecker. They must have had a total of at least 100 cars and only 1 wrecker. They did later on, bring out a backhoe to help but come on guys 1 wrecker and 100 race cars don't work very well. Must not have been as dusty on the grandstand side but the pit side was a real sandblasting for the latemodel feature.
