COMP Cams Super Dirt Series Set for I-30 Speedway this Saturday
Beebe, Arkansas (09/18/12) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model tour will roll into I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) this Saturday night for their final appearance of the 2012 season at the facility.
With just four events left in the season Jon Mitchell from Texarkana, Texas continues to reside atop the tour standings, but his lead is just two markers over defedning CCSDS Champion, Brandon Smith.(not a nice word)A talented field of competitors are expected to challenge Mitchell and Smith this Saturday at I-30 Speedway including Brandon Smith, Jon Kirby, Chandler Petty, Jack Sullivan, Tommy Surrett, Tyler Erb, Morgan Bagley, Kyle Beard, Shane Harris, Timothy Culp, Travis Mosley, Kenneth Jackson, and more.
Robert Baker continues to hold a dominant lead in the Kuntz & Co. Rookie of the Year battle over Chandler Petty, and Kenneth Jackson.
This Saturday, September 22nd the CCSDS returns to I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas) for a $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start event.(not a nice word)The event, which will be the final event of the RiceTec/RiceSelect Summer Series will mark the third and final appearance for the tour at the 1/4 mile oval in 2012.(not a nice word)Billy Moyer and Wendell Wallace have split CCSDS victories at the facility this year.(not a nice word)Also in action on the card will be IMCA Open Wheel Modifieds, Super Stocks, Mod Lites, and Powder Puffs.(not a nice word)Adult grandstand admission is $20 with kids (6-12 years of age) $1 when accompanied by an adult.(not a nice word)Pit passes are $30.(not a nice word)Gates open at 5pm with racing action at 7:30pm.(not a nice word)For more information on the event please visit www.I-30Speedway.com .
