If i'm not mistaked they said at the sprint nationals this year the place holds 26,000. The back stretch must be 8000 for sure and maybe 10,000, that leaves 16,000 to 18,000 on the front. You no as well as I do the front is not 1/2 full because if 3/4 of the stands were full - the first 10 to 15 bottom rows empty because you can't see brings it back to 1/2 full 8000 to 9000 fans. You could be right if you count pits and sprint car HOF , which they don't pay for there tickets (year pass) .
WOO and LUCAS will kill LM racing

?? I'm not the one ripping the race, your thinking of TUTYOriginally posted by donnybeaupre View PostDude I'm trying to fiqure out your point of bashing this race? Either your made because you can't get off work or because they won't let you race your hobby stock in the support class. How can you rip on this race. I have had a booth at cedar lake for 20 plus years and have been to every late model nationals. They are all great times? Who cares if you think one is better then the other. Ok you better get back to work now as I and thousands of others are going racing at the greatest dirt track in the world! Suck it

And it's obvious you know nothing about how tickets are counted at events. Booths are SOLD tickets and have to be accounted for.Originally posted by TUTY View PostIf i'm not mistaked they said at the sprint nationals this year the place holds 26,000. Go to ANY event of ANY type, suite tickets are counted whether anyone uses them or not as long as the suite is sold (College and Pro Football, NASCAR, Pro Basketball, Hockey, concerts, etc.).

I saw plenty of people sitting in the fist 15 rows at last years race (some people actually LIKE sitting down there). My group actually were commenting about how a group of 4 came up the stairs and immediately sat down in row #1 and watched the races there ALL WEEKEND.Originally posted by TUTY View PostIf i'm not mistaked they said at the sprint nationals this year the place holds 26,000. Just becuase you are not attending the Late Model Nationals is no reason to continue to bash it.
There is great racing at EVERY track and all divisions of dirt racing, running any down is one of the reasons why attendance is dropping for weekly tracks (newbies get told how "bad" the races were by the regular attendees). Be more positive, it helps ALL dirt track racing in teh long run.
