New dirt oval to be built on Atomic property(Knoxville, TN)

East Tennessee businessman Doug Sopha has bought the old Atomic property just west of Knoxville and hopes to be racing there next season.

Chris Corum will run the facility that also includes a motocross track. They plan to run five classes on Friday nights.

i thought the track was being built where the moto x track sits, i know the trucking comp sits where the track was at.

It's not going to be rebuilt (this one will be a little smaller and flat) and not on the old Atomic property. The old site butts up against the motocross property, that's as close as it gets to the old one.
