Madden said with a smile that he was the first Super. He & Hickman chatted amiably after their interviews.

Hickman said in victory lane that it was his first race at Lavonia. He won by nearly a half lap.

The CT525 package with ULTIMATE allows a 12 inch spoiler & 2200 lbs.
The OPEN package with ULTIMATE allows an 8 inch spoiler & 2300 lbs.

Yea i bet Chris Madden was crying and complaining! Maybe he and everbody else will see that the CT525 and the Spec Engine works great at day races! Look what Ross Martin did at the Ice Bowl during a day race. The open motor is still better during night races and sometimes the spec works well. There were some guys that tried the CT525 at green valley several weeks back but def couldn't keep up and also it happened again at Boyd's friday night, the CT 525 couldn't keep up there too.

Didn't get to make the race because of being under the weather but if the track was dry slick as some day races are an open motor can't used all it's horsepower sometimes which helps the crate engine cars plus the less weight and bigger spoiler help too. Sounds like the race was successful especially with the large crowd. Hope to make it over there for some races in the near future.

thanks johne ; say what u won't haven't seen chris this year but he always speaks to me when i see him and thanks his fans.

Track was dry , they didn't have time to do all that had to be done to repair & restore facility and add new clay to.
Track needed it, the spec engine will hook up better on a drier track with less horsepower like some one said they always do better for a day race.
