It's really sad that todays racers have $30,000 cars with $30,000-40,000 engines and still having to race for $1500 to win,like we did back in the '70s when you could have a front running complete car for $5000.

It doesn't take a top dawg budget to compete at BelleVegas. The short track is an equalizer for the haves & the have-nots. It's not unusual for an underfunded team to pull off a win there, but as Litey said, you still have to wheel the car around the place. Getting a win there can be harder than most places when it comes to driving.

It is an awesome place to watch a race... with covered grandstands on both sides of the track, there's not a bad seat in the house.
