    smallest track with SLM's

just seen the footage of Shannon Babb wins Shamrock 40 at Belle-Clair Speedway

That has got to be the smallest track I've ever seen SLM's compete at

I thot SPRING CITY RACEWAY was tiny - this BCS is smaller

When Aaron raced at Macon, he said it was crazy. Feature went caution free and took about 8 minutes.

Old School for sure....Insurance companies now frown upon Flagmen on the Racing surface....That Old School Flagman looks fearless....Very cool track....

It is an awesome place to watch a race... with covered grandstands on both sides of the track, there's not a bad seat in the house.

I measured the track on Google Earth and it was 410 ft from one end to the other at the wall.

                            Belle-Clair

Belle-Clair, is, I am told, modeled after Macon. Macon and Belle-clair are both 1/5 mile tracks. macon is higher banked though. You want to see exciting, you can't miss Late Models on either track. Google Babb in the 1997 H&R 100, where he takes an old Bullitt late model, and goes from the back to the front, only to be 20 pounds underweight because the regular driver weighed about 240 and Babb weighed 140!. I think the Late Model track record at Macon is just at 10 seconds or a little faster...I've seen sprinters turn it in 9.8 or less...
