    March 30th- 2nd Annual MARS DIRTcar Series March Madness- Springfield Raceway

    Springfield, Mo.- The "Quick-Quarter" of the Springfield Raceway will begin the 2013 racing season with the 2nd annual March Madness event featuring the MARS Super Late Models Saturday March 30th.

    Last season, saw 37 LM's check into Jerry Hoffman and Doug Blands Springfield Raceway. With Republic's Brad Looney holding off several challenges from Will Vaught in taking home the $3,000 to win feature event as over 90 race teams checked-in the pits to compete in the opening event.

    MARS Martians will go into battle for third event in March.. After Walker Aurthur and Brian Shirley claimed victories in Clarksville, Tn. The MARS regulars will look to rebound at one of there home track's in Southwest Missouri.. $3000 will be up for grabs as Defending series Champ Jesse Stovall- Galena, Mo: Tony Jackson Jr- Lebanon, Mo: Terry Phillips- Springfield, Mo: Justin Asplin- Birch Tree, Mo: David Turner- Adrian, Mo: Robert Baker- Bryant, Ar: Justin Wells- Aurora, Mo: Brandon Morton- Broken Bow, Ok: Matt Johnson- Archie, Mo: Leroy Johnson- Springfield, Mo: Jacob Magee- Caney, Ks: Shawn Knuckles- Poplar Bluff, Mo plus many more will be on hand...

    Tire rule: WRS-55 or LM-40

    I would like to go, however this is the same weekend as the NDRL shows at Paducah & Pevely. At least it gives more drivers a chance to win some decent money this way.

      Yea really hate that there the same wkd.. Hard to schedule and stay off a big special anymore these days tho.. Hope you can make it to another MARS show..
