Clanton led all the way but it was by no means easy. He had to fend off a couple of tough challengers in Owens and Casebolt to get the win.

Too bad the wind picked up when it did after the heats to really dry the track out some. Otherwise, it was shaping up to be quite a show. Casebolt has been a tough customer down south.

I agree 100% on Casebolt ..he has been right there in the middle of it early in the season.

Casebolt would have been a factor and Davenport put on a show even after they tried ruining his night twice with calls I'm still trying to figure out. Also hated to see Marlar go out early.
