    Ponderosa Speedway Presents All Divisions in Competition on Friday May 10

    Junction City, KY- May 4, 2013- Ponderosa Speedway track promoter Larry Yantz and co-promoters Chad and Sarah Yantz will continue the racing action in the month of May at the 3/8 mile D-shaped red clay oval better known as “Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring” with a full racing program that will feature racing competition for all divisions on Friday May 10.

    The Friday May 10 event will feature all five weekly divisions in competition. The Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models will race 25 laps for $1,200 to win, while the Bluegrass Drug Store Modifieds will race 20 laps for $600 to win. Also in action at Ponderosa Speedway on Friday May 10 will be the Smith Automotive Machine Shop FASTRAK Late Models racing 20 laps for $600 to win,k the D&D Pallet Recyclers Sportsman racing 15 laps for $300 to win, and the Airport Road Salvage Yard Four Cylinders racing 10 laps for $200 to win (four car minimum). RACEceivers are mandatory in all divisions and racers will need to have them in use every time they are on the racing surface and can be rented from the track at driver registration.

    The A-Main payoff schedule for the Friday May 10 event at Ponderosa Speedway will be as follows:
    -Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models (25 laps): 1st- $1,200, 2nd- $600, 3rd- $500, 4th- $400, 5th- $350, 6th- $300, 7th- $250, 8th- $200, 9th- $175, 10th- $150, 11th- $125, 12th through 18th- $100 to start.
    -Smith Automotive Machine Shop FASTRAK Late Models (20 laps): 1st- $600, 2nd- $350, 3rd- $300, 4th- 250, 5th- $200, 6th- $175, 7th- $150, 8th- $125, 9th- $100, 10th- $85, 11th through 18th- $75 to start.
    -Bluegrass Drug Store Modifieds (20 laps): 1st- $600, 2nd- $350, 3rd- $300, 4th- 250, 5th- $200, 6th- $175, 7th- $150, 8th- $125, 9th- $100, 10th- $85, 11th through 18th- $75 to start.
    -D&D Pallet Sportsman (15 laps): 1st- $300, 2nd- $200, 3rd- $150, 4th- $125, 5th- $100, 6th- $90, 7th- $80, 8th- $70, 9th- $60, 10th- $55, 11th through 18th- $50 to start.
    -Airport Road Salvage Yard Four Cylinders (10 laps): (Four or more entries)- 1st- $200, 2nd- $125, 3rd- $100, 4th- $90, 5th- $80, 6th- $70, 7th- $60, 8th- $55, 9th- $50, 10th- $45, 11th through 18th- $40 to start.

    Activities for the Friday May 10 event at Ponderosa Speedway will see the pit area open at 4:00 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 5:00 p.m. A mandatory drivers meeting will take place at 7:00 p.m., with practice laps set to begin at 7:20 p.m. Bob Allen Motor Mall time trials will commence at 7:45 p.m., with the first race getting the green flag at 8:30 p.m. All times listed are EDT. Ticket prices for the May 10 event in the general admission area will be $12 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, while children ages 5 and under are FREE with a paid adult. A pit pass will be $30.

    Ponderosa Speedway last raced on May 3 and feature event winners included Dustin Linville of Lancaster, KY in Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models, Bryan Barber of Greensburg, KY in Bluegrass Drug Store Modifieds, Todd Coffman of Junction City, KY in Smith Automotive Machine Shop FASTRAK Late Models, Donnie Sullivan of Stanford, KY in D&D Pallet Recyclers Sportsman, and Adam Gregory of Gray, KY in Airport Road Salvage Yard Four Cylinders.

    Current track championship point leaders heading into the Friday May 10 event include Victor Lee of Danville, KY in Good Neighbor Pharmacy Super Late Models, Bryan Barber of Greensburg, KY in Bluegrass Drug Store Modifieds, Todd Coffman of Junction City, KY in Smith Automotive Machine Shop FASTRAK Late Models, Donnie Sullivan of Stanford, KY in D&D Pallet Recyclers Sportsman, and Charles Burton of Somerset, KY in Airport Road Salvage Yard Four Cylinders.

    Ponderosa Speedway is located at 365 Phillips Lane on the Boyle/Lincoln County border, outside of Junction City, KY, just minutes from Danville, KY.
