I think he was light at the scales after qualifying. then came from pretty far back in the b main to pass for the lead only to have what looked like an engine failure.

8 cars came up light at the scales. Schwallie said that at the las Lucas race a third of the field was going to be light and that the scales need some attention.

Word around the pits about 116 was that the front broke off of the water pump and the fan went through the radiator. I wish it hadn't happened because Weaver looked to have possibly the best car at the track. He put on a clinic in that heat race coming from last to first in about 6 laps. That was after his fast qualifying time had been disallowed along with several others. I agree about the scales. When was the last time you have ever been to a race where more than 1 or 2 cars at the most come up light, much less about 1/4 of the field. As robcoautosports mentioned, I think the same thing happened here at the last WoO race. Houston, we have a problem!!! At least its the scales and not tires though.
