On May 22nd east Tennessee lost a racing legend and a family lost its leader. But that family plans to carry on in the way of life taught to them by their father.
Buster Cardwell lived his life as one of this area’s top racers and later as the patriarch of a racing family. Now, his sons(Jason, Brian, Andy and David) plan to carry on the legacy their father began on the dirt tracks around the region. This weekend, Jason Cardwell will race his familiar late model for the first time since his dad passed away after a long battle with cancer.
