Southern Regional Racing Series:
The Southern Regional Racing Series will take the short drive to Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia for Round 2 of the 2nd annual SRRS Showdown on Friday night June 28th. This event will also feature a 40 lap main event that will pay $3,000 to the winner. This event will also feature SRRS heat races and a “Quick Dashâ€.
Michael Page, Riley Hickman, Dane Dacus, Jackie Boggs, and Chad Ogle are already winners on the SRRS tour this season. Join us on Friday night to see who joins the ranks of these drivers.
SRRS title contender Jason Welshan will be in attendance as he tries to strengthen his points lead over 2011 SRRS champion Josh Putnam. Rookie of the Year competitor Ryan King is also looking to gain some points on Putnam and Welshan . All drivers will be looking for their first SRRS victory of the season this Thursday. Drivers such as Steve Casebolt, Brandon Kinzer, and William Thomas will also try to capture the $3,000 along with other notable regional drivers.
The Southern Regional Racing Series will be collecting money for the Jason M. Neely Foundation Race 2 Cure Parkinson’s at the Showdown events this season. Please donate what you can. Donation jars will be set up at SRRS souvenir table. Any amount of money is welcomed.
You can also purchase your official Southern Regional Racing Series. Shirts are available in white or gray. Show everyone who your favorite series is this Friday night by purchasing a SRRS shirt!
Classes running along with the SRRS supers will be crates, a-hobby, and b-hobby.
Gates are set to open at 4:00 PM EASTERN TIME with racing set to begin at 7:00 PM. Pits $30. Grandstands: Kids 7-12 $5, 6 and under FREE, Adults $!5
