Fairbury Speedway $20,000 to win Prairie Dirt Classic July 26 & 27
The tradition continues as the Fairbury American Legion Speedway will play host to the 24th Annual Prairie Dirt Classic on Friday, July 26th and Saturday, July 27th. This two-day $20,000 to win World of Outlaws sanctioned race will feature some of the top drivers in the country as they compete in the 100-lap Prairie Dirt Classic. The 26-car field will pay a strong $1,500 to start with a full payout of $83,000.
Included in the weekend's racing program will be two complete Modified shows paying $2,000 to win on Friday night and $3,000 to win on Saturday night. Also included on Friday night’s agenda will be the “Race of Champions†presented by Pontiac RV. This 25-lap, $1,000 to win race will include the past champions of the PDC, the PDC Shootout, and track champions that have raced in the past two years. An official list of entrants will be announced soon.
Finally, the 4th Annual Prairie Dirt Shootout will complete this awesome weekend of racing at the Fairbury American Legion Speedway on Saturday night as the Late Model Non-Qualifier's Race will pay $2,000 to win and $300 to start. The 30-lap Shootout will start 20 cars thus giving the top 46 drivers money earned from the weekend.
