    Just curious as to which event is bigger? The sprint cars at the Knoxville Nationals or the Late Models at the World 100 at Eldora. Car counts, attendance, and so on...

    I would say the Nationals but it starts on Wednesday. The purse for the nationals is much higher. Winner gets $150,000.

            I'd like to hear that too.

            If anything, Tony has the "opportunity" for more corporate involvement than ANY track across the USA.

            The fact that he cannot get someone on board to help boost the purses tells me that the corporations are "leery" of the events held there or feel the "fans" don't fit their demographics and it would be wasted $$$$.

                They, as previously said, are comparing apples and oranges. The Knoxville Nationals stands alone as the best dirt event.

                    It is the best by far. The Chili Bowl is also a bigger event than the World 100.

                      It seems that everywhere the sprints go they sell out. For some reason they are just a bigger draw and people are oooed and awwed by their extreme speeds through the corners. I like LM's better but I love watching sprints, until they crash... then there's a 45 minute delay.
