SRRS Takes on Boyd's Speedway AUGUST 23RD

The Southern Regional Racing Series will head to Boyd's Speedway for the final time this season. This event will feature the SRRS super late models battling for the $3,000 top prize. This event will feature hot laps, qualifying, heat races, and the main event.

Michael Page, Riley Hickman, Dane Dacus, Jackie Boggs, Chad Ogle, Ray Cook, and Josh Putnam are already winners this year on the SRRS tour which has been effected by rain on numerous occasions.

2011 SRRS champion and current points leader Josh Putnam leads the SRRS into the event at Boyd's Speedway with a 10 point lead over SRRS title contender Jason Welshan. Rookie Ryan King will come into the event at Boyd's in third place.

The Southern Regional Racing Series will be collecting money for the Jason M. Neely Foundation Race 2 Cure Parkinson’s at the Showdown events this season. Please donate what you can. Donation jars will be set up at SRRS souvenir table. Any amount of money is welcomed.

*Boyd's Speedway: All super late models must have an approved muffler on both sides (no exceptions). All cars will be inspected. No muffler = no racing. Any car that loses a muffler will be disqualified. This is a rule for BOYD'S SPEEDWAY ONLY!!!!
