Smoky Mtn. Speedway hosts Tennessee State Championship Oct. 25-26

For those of you that may have missed it, Smoky Mountain Speedway will be hosting the Tennessee State Championship presented by NAPA Auto Parts on Oct. 25-26. The Friday night portion will be highlighted by a unsanctioned $2,000 to win super late model race and a $2,000 to win limited late model race. Then on Saturday night, the $10,000 to win race will be sanctioned by the Southern All-Stars plus a $2,000 to win crate late model race. The Maryville, Tennessee track is hoping to make this an annual tradition and build it up to make it one of those must-see fall events. Some big money will be on the line next weekend.

Super Late Models - $2,000 to win, $250 to start

I really think this is long overdue, and no better track in Tn. to do it. Very excited about the 1st TN. State Championship at SMR, and who better to support it than the SAS. Just FYI for those who may want join in... Got my answer from SMR, and its a go. Camping for the weekend at the track $25.00. Weather looking good. (suppose to be cold in October) Should be a great show.
