Jonathan Davenport earns uncomforable victory at Smoky Mountain

Jonathan Davenport may not have entirely liked the feel of his car on Friday night at the Smoky Mountain Speedway but it certainly didn’t show during the Super Late Model feature event on the Maryville, Tennessee track. The Georgia native seemingly cruised to a $2,000 win that served as an unsanctioned preliminary tune up for Saturday night’s $10,000-to-win Southern All Stars main event.
