What's the right number of support classes when a track hosts a special event?

I brought in a number of opinions from fans and promoters to answer this question. Answers were pretty varied, but one factor seemed to be a constant. The key is for the track to conduct its business in a timely manner, no matter what the number of classes.

2 classes. people travel from good distances to see big events and most want to get home at a reasonable time.. they don't travel to see support classes SORRY
