Off topic, but I'm a huge AIC fan, and your signature caught my eye. Them with Layne is better than the new stuff, but it still ain't bad. The title song, Black Gives Way to Blue, a tribute to Layne is good. Especially if you catch it on YouTube with Jerry doing it acoustic. I was at KC Raceway when I heard he died, right before the nights racing starting. Purely a shame, his talent, that voice, unreal, just had demons he couldn't get ahold of. Try their MTV Unplugged CD, think it's the last time they were together, acoustic, but great, and Layne sounds great. Just imagine if he didn't have his issues, how good he could have been.

Chupp/bloomer fan, yes I do have their new stuff and the title song is really done in good taste, but its like my favorite singer of all time (Morrison), its xtremely hard to replace a legend like Layne but like u said AIC has done really well in doing that. My late buddy Pietro was a huge grunge fan and got me hooked on it when I was in Seattle in the early 90's. He was a native of that area and we used to hit lots on bars and concerts when we got the time. Seeing Vedder, Weiland, Cobain, Staley, and Cornell in those days was like seeing a small reincarnation of the Beatles to me. Even though I was in my early 40's I was impressed to see a whole new generation of music being born right before my eyes. It's sad to me that today's so called music out there doesn't do a thing for me, too much Boober-Bieber or whatever his name is, Katy big boobs, and a host of other want to be's Us grunge-hippies will have to refine ourselves to listening to the different channels on Sirius I guess from now on
