Things to do near eams?

I'm bringing the family up there and they wanna know what things are good to do there during the day before we go to the track

Ummmm..........nothing LOL The river is pretty near by but not much going on in Phenix city

Little White House

Not sure what kind of "things" are good, but FDR's Little White House is awesome if you are into historical sites.

It's Eams, not Eldora. You can find plenty to do. If you do go to the Little White House, hit Callaway Gardens too. About 30 minutes away. The old home of the Bama Bash, Green Valley, was more desolate. Many fewer choices there.

SLEEP!!!! EAMS is famous for making a show last till daylight. One time I ran a heat race at 4:30 am!

Not a lot in Phenix City itself but its on the border with Georgia and Columbus, GA. As mentioned Callaway Gardens isn't too far off in Pine Mountain, KIA has a huge manufacturing facility up in West Point that allows tours at certain times as well.

Just Google thinks to do Columbus, GA ... that should give you close and a short drive options of things to do until racing starts around 5 Friday and Saturday.

The Little White House is pretty neat,and not too pricey,Callaway Gardens is more of a all day thing,they have lots of things to do there,but one ticket is like $25.
