The guys setting around me said what is he doing racing here,he is a professional and has Winston cup motors and works there, not sure if that's true. but if you had the equipment and could know you could take the money it would be hard not to.Some of the drivers may not come back but there is enough locals to race.

"Professional"?From the results,It looks like there was a good many of so called "Professionals" in attendance.As far as Winston Cup motors comment,Boyd's aint a drag strip.You can have the fastest motor in the world and it ain't worth anything if the car aint sticking in the corner.

Plus Ive heard from someone who's driven both, those ECR motors are not any better than what you can get from Clements or Cornett.

Never said they were not good, just not an advantage over some others. Plus I don't think a guy driving for Team Childress is going to ask to switch from Earnhardt-Childress engines anytime soon.

Rodeck is right. He was prob legal, but like a man told me one time, "just don't look good".He has other tracks to
race at in area, no reason to stink up dinky by running at your own track. I am a Macdaddy fan, am glad to see
that so far, don't think Ray has raced at the county. Promoter may not have an advantage, but people looking
from outside think they do.

People on here complaining about Mcdowell racing at his own track. I bet you'd all kill to have him race there on a normal Saturday night! Be thankful somebody like him is trying to keep the sport going at Boyd's and not rolling over like many tracks have, or even worse have the best known track in the south and not get anything other than Schaeffer's and Lucas to race there when there's half a dozen other series that race all around that track! You guys don't want Mcdowell racing at his own track, send him to N. Ga or Dixie or even West Ga. They'd all be more than happy to have him there.
