Dixie Speedway Bill Ingram Memorial updates

[champion24]

Hot laps have begun. Several count numbers have been thrown around. I'll give a more concrete count soon.

[champion24]

26 supers I believe. No scoreboard and a quiet PA makes it tough.

[champion24]

Crate heats won by 4-Smith and 78 Crane. 19 crates here.

[champion24]

Limited heats won by 22 Brewer and 9 Granger. 15 limited cars here. Super qualifying next.

[champion24]

Riley Hickman backs it into the turn 4 wall pretty hard early in qualifying.

[champion24]

Chastain fastest in qualifying over Tony Knowles. 27 supers and they all start the feature.

[champion24]

Bomber feature is taking a while tonight.

Thanks for the updates Champion. Is that Shawn or Johnny Chastain? Is David Payne in the house?

[champion24]

You're welcome, I wish more people would give updates. Not sure which Chastain. The scoreboard is completely out. Payne is here, along with Ray Cook and Clint Smith. The bomber feature finally ended.

[champion24]

21 of Vollrath wins super bomber feature. Crate feature up next.

[champion24]

Crate feature goes to 87 of Pilcher over 4 Shane Smith with the winning pass coming to the white. . Best race so far.

You would think with the increase in pit prices that scoreboard would work perfectly and their lap timing would not break down every 5th driver trying to qualify.

[champion24]

I agree with the frustration. If they would broadcast the PA over some channel or just turn it up more, we would have a shot at a better experience. Dixie needs some upgrades, but still does the best job around here.

[champion24]

Supers up next.

[champion24]

Johnny Chastain 00, 26, 7, 59, 24 top 5 starters.
