Rome Speedway double features 6-29

[champion24]

Still packing the track.

[champion24]

Hot laps complete finally. I believe 22 supers.

[champion24]

4 Smith and 55 ?? win crate heats. 15 crate cars here. 4m keeps kicking me out.

[champion24]

Halfway through qualifying. McIntosh leads at 13.33.

[champion24]

Hiett fastest at 13.26 for the 2nd feature. He starts on the pole for both races, if we get them in.

[champion24]

Hiett spanks them for the first super feature victory. Armistead, McIntosh, Millwood, and Johnson complete the top 5. A wreck took out a few.

[champion24]

Crate feature #1 won by 05 Brittain over Smith and Jones.

[cafish]

thanks for updates

[champion24]

Bagby won bomber and Powell won super bomber features. The track is pretty wide and racy. I hate that we don't race more at Rome.

[champion24]

Crate feature won by 55 King in a dominant performance over Brittain. Mini stocks next. And still no rain!

[champion24]

Fireworks are over. Supers next.

[champion24]

Caution half way. Hiett dominant. If not for side by side lapped cars , he would lead by half the track.

[champion24]

Johnson gets together with a lapped car to impede his progress. 1,21,7,77,59.

[champion24]

Another caution lap 21. 1,7,21,77,19,59.

[champion24]

Checkers to Hiett. McIntosh, Armistead, Stevens, and Johnson complete the top 5. Good battle between McIntosh and Armistead.
