Bloomquist had a flat right rear with about five to go. He wasn't going to get Shaver though unless he took him out. Shaver was class of field.

Instead of being bitter and b1tching and moaning about something all the time, be happy that someone is trying to fill you in on whats going on at the track. Can't we just agree that we all love the same sport and we're not all experts and know it alls, and just go to the races and have a good time? Gheeze.

I missed the incident with Pearson, can smeone elaborate why he was black flagged and sent to the pits. They said he touched another car.

All I heard over the pa system was that he intentionally hit another car under caution so he was sent to the pits for the night.

I don't know if Pearson ever actually touched Smith, but it was his intentions to. Never seen Pearson get like that.

Also, when Bloomquist came by the flagstand his right rear was up. I wasn't so sure he didn't just miss the restart and got roughed up and fell back and decided to park it. He stopped right in front of us on the front stretch and we could see nothing wrong unless he broke a shock or something.

Something not mentioned is Madden hit the wall about a third through the feature and fell a good ways back and was able to recover and get back to 2nd.

bloomer did in fact have a right rear going down, when he got to his pits it was flat.

Right after the contact/caution was made for Davenport, Pearson, Smith, Roberts, drivers were told ON the radio as soon as the got turned away and started to pull off, DO NOT make contact with each other on the race track... that they could take it to the pits. It seemed clear that Pearson was not happy. Smith and Pearson rolled down the front stretch and when entering turn 1, Pearson pulled up beside Smith and turned left into him. Pearson was told to park his race car for hitting someone under caution. Roberts and Davenport were the two cars that pulled off the track after that caution. Both had damage.

Bloomquist's RR tire was blistered, according to crew chief Tommy Hicks. It didn't take off when he started. By the time he got to the trailer, the tire went flat.

Shaver's RR tire was completely flat when he got back to his pit stall after the race.

By lap 39, Shaver had lapped up to 8th place...when the caution came out.

Davenport and Roberts will both go to back-up cars for tonight's event. Pursley, who was hauled by wrecker after hitting the inside tire on the track, put a new nose back on his car last night and will be good to go for tonight's race. The reason his car smoked during the race was because the right side valve cover came loose.

We talked to Jared in the pits last night after the race for about 15-20 minutes. He's a very, very nice young man and very personable. He would give you a straight answer for anything you asked. As for the track record, guess how many horsepower he said that engine was dyno'd at? Try 915 hp and he said the one in the backup car was more than that but lots harder to get hooked up. Guess that is what you get with Earnhardt Childress engines. You could hear that his and Bloomer's motors sounded significantly stronger than most any others.
