WAYCROSS, GA (April 13, 2015) The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series heads to Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas, April 17th and 18th for the Bad Boy 98. The event, which is co-sanctioned with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series - Presented by Lucas Oil, will pay $20,000 to win and $1,200 to start the 98-lap feature.
Action will get underway on Friday night, April 17th with LOLMDS Hot Laps, Miller Welders Time Trials, and Heat Races to set the starting field for the Bad Boy 98. On Saturday night, April 18th there will be a special autograph session for fans to meet the stars of the LOLMDS, as well as several regional standouts and top drivers from around the country. Following the autograph session will be two LOLMDS B-Mains to complete the starting grid for the 98-lap, $20,000 to win main event. Other divisions in competition this weekend include Street Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Factory Stocks, and Modifieds. He holds a ten (10) point lead over four-time series national champion, Earl Pearson Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida. Jimmy Owens (TN), Devin Moran (OH), and Eddie Carrier Jr. (WV) round out the top five in series championship point standings. Sixth through tenth in the current series standings include Don O’Neal (IN), Steve Francis (KY), Jared Landers (AR), Scott Bloomquist (TN), and Brandon Sheppard (IL).
