The Carolina Clash will be roaring back into town for The Jack Starrette Tribute Race on Saturday, November 13th at Fayetteville Motor Speedway in Fayetteville, NC. The race will be the season finale for the Carolina Clash dubbed the “Clash Bash†which will be a 50 lap, $5,000 to win feature event.
Carolina Clash Officials would like to announce that pit gates will be opening at 2pm with the drivers meeting scheduled to begin promptly at 5pm. Hot laps will begin at 5:30pm with qualifying and heat races to immediately follow. The show will be moved along so fans can get home at a decent hour and before the cold night air sets in.
The format for the Carolina Clash race will be as follows: the top 10 will be locked into the feature directly from qualifying, the rest of the field will fall into 2 heat races where the top 5 will transfer to the feature event, for the cars 6th on back in the heat races, they will go to the B-Main where 2 cars will transfer to the feature event, the final two positions in the 24 car starting field will be based on 2010 Carolina Clash points.
Also taking place Saturday evening after the feature event, both the Carolina Clash and Clash South Champions will be crowned in Victory Lane. Please make plans to be there for this historic night, as we crown two champions, and pay tribute to one of dirt racing's most respected men, Jack Starrette.
