With super late model racing out of the region, Dublin Motor Speedway in Dublin, North Carolina will host another super late model race on August 8 at the 4/10 track. Payouts have been increased to $4,000 for the win, $400 to start, and a $200 contingency award for the pole position in the SLM race. There will also be a $2,000 to win race for the open wheel modified cars with a $200 pole award in this OWM class. Support classes will also run in LLM, Super Street, Pure Stock, and U-Car. Contingency awards may increase between now and race day.

Justin Labonte had the pole and was running away with the race until lap 35 when he blew a right rear. Second place Willie Milliken also blew a tire moments after Labonte and on that same lap. Bowen inherited the lead but couldn't hold off Erwin or Allen but did manage to hold off Smith who was on his rear bumper at the checkers.Comment
