Tazewell Speedway kicks off 2016 with $2,000 to win LLM

Tazewell Speedway kicks off the 51st season of racing on Saturday, March 19 with the 7th annual Charles Trammell Memorial. The limited late models will be racing for $2,000 to win. Jason Trammell will look to win back-to-back races named after his grandfather. It will also be the debut of the open wheel modified division as a weekly division at Tazewell Speedway. They will be racing for $700 to win. Also racing will be the sportsman division for $700 to win, super stocks for $700 to win, plus four cylinders and classic cars.

Pit gates open at 4:00, grandstand gates open at 5:00. General admission tickets are $15 for adults, kids 9 and under are free. Pit passes are $30 for adults, kids 12 and under are $15 (with signed release).

Saturday's race has been rescheduled for Saturday, March 26 because of rain and much cooler weather in the forecast. The track will be open for practice on Saturday from 1:30-5:00.
