With the success of the $1,000 to win Street Stock Shootout Brad McCown owner/promoter of McCown’s Jackson County Speedway makes yet another huge announcement. On Friday Sept 16 and Saturday Sept 17th the 1st annual Street Stock Nationals will take to the high banks in a special two day event. This huge event will pay $2,500 to win and $200 to start with total purse set at $9,810.
On Friday Sept 16th the baddest street stocks in America will qualify, run there heat races and run any necessary d or c main events. Also on Friday Sept 16th the late model division will run for a $1,000 to win complete show including qualifying, heats and features. The super quick mod lites and outlaw 4 cylinders will also join the event for Friday.
Then on Saturday Sept 17th the street stocks will headline the show with their B Main event and 50 lap $2,500 to win event. The top 19 cars will race their way into this event with the 20th position being awarded to the highest non qualifying points leader at McCowns Jackson County Speedway. The huge event will be joined with $800 to win steel block late model show that will once again include qualifying, heats and features. A $100 bonus will be awarded to the highest average finishing late model driver for both nights. Joining the show on Saturday will also be the Outlaw 4 Cylinders, Stock 4 Cylinders and an Enduro event.
The payoff for this huge event will be as follows: 2500, 1500, 1000, 700, 500, 400, 300, 290, 270, 250, 240, 230, 220, 210, 200 to 20th position. This event will have a $75 pre-entry fee or a $100 entry fee the day of the race. Also note that any drivers who have not previously been to McCown’s Jackson County Speedway will be required to pay a one time $25 registration fee. Two day pit passes will be available for $40 or $25 per day. Two day general admission passes will be available for $25 or $15 per day. Entry forms will be available online by August 16th.
