Tonight was the chevette drivers chance to win $1000 and there were plenty of cars on hand (including one car from Tennessee). If you showed up to see a chevette win, you were probably disappointed. The closest chevette to the front was the 9w car driven by Jeff Watson. The car that took the money home was the 12 car with the Tarvin car in 2nd. My reasoning for not giving credit to the 12 car and the Tarvin car is simple. Those two cars as well as the 2 and 00 cars are not chevettes. They are fabricated cars. At least Tarvins car "looks" like a chevette. I would love to see a mustan or pinto with a 2300 come out there and put it all over those "chevettes". That would be cool. Congrats Mr Watson.
