Summit Racing Equipment AMS 4th Annual J.B. Robinson Memorial $2,000 to win at Bloomington Friday August 25
Glasgow, KY- August 17, 2017 (www.americanmodifiedseries.com) - The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series returns to action after about a month off with a make-up event at Bloomington Speedway in Bloomington, IN on Friday August 25 as the tour will sanction the 4th Annual J.B. Robinson Memorial event, paying $2,000 to win and $200 to start. The event was originally scheduled back on April 28, but was postponed due to inclement weather.
The 4th Annual J.B. Robinson Memorial event will take place on Friday August 25 and will see the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the 40 lap, $2,000 to win, $200 to start 4th Annual J.B. Robinson Memorial A-Main contest. Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50. All drivers that start a B-Main, but do not transfer to the A-Main, will receive $50 tow money. Bloomington Speedway uses transponders for timing/scoring, however, there will be no rental fee for transponders.
Activities for the Friday August 25 J.B. Robinson Memorial event at Bloomington Speedway will see the pit area open at 4:30 p.m., with the general admission area open at 5:30 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 6:15 p.m., with practice beginning at 6:30 p.m., followed by time trials and green flag racing, which is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. All times EDT. Ticket prices at Bloomington Speedway on Friday August 25 for the 4th Annual J.B. Robinson Memorial event in the general admission will be $15 for adults, while a pit pass will be $30.
