Most guys here run the Hoosiers, and I'm pretty sure that they are around $100 a piece.

From what I have seen -- most people run the AR KK704. They are a better tire for the long run. The Hoosiers are short run tires. At Atwood you will run 15 lap heat races and the Hoosier will go away and the Racers will stay under you. The Racers are $100-$110 each according to where you get them and how many you buy.

I've got no clue about gears. Hopefully someone can help you out. It's a 3/8 of a mile if that helps any.

It says Hoosier race tire. Does that include the Hoosier A that ump guys run? And it just says no double shocks. All other shocks allowed as far as adjustable etc.?

On the 9 inch gear most run a 5.83-6.20...some higher with high RPMs

On the tire it is supposed to be IMCA rules but beware because we attended the race last year and there was no inspection of anything....might want to check out all the info & stuff being posted about this race & the track on www.midsouthforums.com

A ton of issues with the track, officials, & local competition right now on a regular night of racing, so a big night only intensifies it!
