Ponderosa Speedway www.theponderosaspeedway.com , Kentucky’s Baddest Bullring, and the United Super Dirt Car Series (USDCS) www.usdcs.com joined forces for a great night of racing last night.
#16 Justin Ratliff of Campbellsville, KY driving a Bloomquist Car with an Estes engine stole the show. He set fast time for the late models with a 13.863 time, won his heat race and went on to win the Glenn Auto Mall 40 Super Late Model Feature. Justin took the lead on the first lap and ran a perfect race. Justin very much appreciates his sponsors MGL Auto Sales, On Time Courier and JRR Motor Sales. Finishing second and also the winner of his heat race was the #44 driven by Jeff Watson also of Campbellsville, KY.
#17 Tommy Bailey set fast time and won the Modified Race. #166 Tyler Jones was second. #23 John Smith won the Sportsman Race followed by #1 Donnie Sullivan. #2 Brandon Lucas won the 4 Cylinders/FWD followed by #5 Austin Taylor.
We would like to thank all the fans and drivers that supported the track last night! Thank you so much for coming!
Our next races will be the Fall Classic Weekend a 2-Day show on September 30th and October 1st with Late Models paying $2500 and $5000 to win, Modifieds paying $800 to win and Outlaw Sportsman paying $1000 to win. Please plan to spend the weekend with us! Gates will open at 4 pm each day. Drivers meeting at 6:45.
