Hamilton and Rhaodes deadlocked at top of CMC standings

[Cincy Mod Championship]

After 48 races in The U.S. Race Gear Cincinnati Modified Championship presented by Gabbard's Mt. Orab Ford and B&B Auto Care Matt Hamilton and John Rhoades have settled nothing. They are deadlocked at the top of the standings with only 7 races remaining. The weekend started with Bryan Barber taking his second CMC race of the year as the American Modified series invaded Moler Raceway Park. On Saturday 2 track championships were on the line and Derek Groomer would take the Lawrenceburg Championship by winning his 8th feature of the year. Matt Hamilton would have to settle for 2nd in the feature at Florence Speedway as Trent Green would claim the feature. Hamilton would wrap up his 2nd straight Florence Speedwayh Championship as he also erased Rhoades 2 point lead in the CMC standings. This Friday at Moler Raceway Park they will crown there season champion. Then on Saturday everyone will move to Brushcreek Motorsports Complex for the 2nd Annual TheDRC.Net night at the races. Jody Shannon and crew has already established this event as one of the most fan and racer friendly events all season. Make sure yo get to both tracks so you don't miss any of the CMC action.
