major change to the Boknecht Trucking 40 at Brownstown on June 2nd/ NO AMS SANCTION/

Just caught this on the Brownstown Speedway website

UMP Modified Special - Boknecht Trucking 40
    Saturday Night June 2nd....

May 21, 2012 - The UMP Modified Special-Boknecht Trucking 40 scheduled for Saturday night June 2nd will be run under UMP DIRTcar Racing and Brownstown Speedway rules. Due to scheduling conflicts, this race will not be sanctioned by the American Modified Series.

The UMP Modified Special-Boknecht Trucking 40 event entry fee will be lowered to $30 and will not be the original $50 American Modified Series entry fee.

The UMP Modifieds will be qualifying for this event. The 40 lap a-main will pay the following purse: $1200, 700, 600, 500, 450, 400, 375, 325, 300, 250, 230, 225, 200, 175 and 150 to start. Modified drivers not transferring to the main event will receive $50 tow money.

The UMP Modifieds have been highly competitive at Brownstown this season and have resulted in 4 different winners out of 5 events. Nick Allen of Wheatfield, Indiana is the only repeat winner for 2012. Elliot Despain of Cambellsville, Kentucky, Devin Gilpin of Columbus, Indiana and Bloomington, Indiana's John DeMoss have all registered wins on the season.
