“The Bad Fast Taz” Up Next for American Modified Series on Saturday June 30

Glasgow, KY-June 24, 2012- The American Modified Series will complete the month of June this Saturday night June 30 at the bad fast high banked red clay Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, TN for a $3,000 to win event.

On Saturday June 30 at Tazewell Speedway in Tazewell, TN, the American Modified Series will present a full program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B-Mains, and the $3,000 to win A-Main event. Other divisions in competition at Tazewell Speedway on Saturday June 30 will include the track’s Late Model, Modifed Street, Pure Street, Four Cylinder, and Classic Car divisions. The pit area opens at 4:00 p.m. and the drivers meeting will be at 7:00 p.m., followed by practice laps, time trials and green flag racing action.
The American Modified Series last competed on Friday and Saturday June 22 and June 23. On Friday June 22, the tour was at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH and Joey Kramer of Hanover, IN was the winner, while Devin Gilpin of Columbus, IN grabbed the tour’s stop at Florence Speedway in Union, KY on Saturday June 23.
The American Modified Series will present UMP Modified sanctioned dirt track sports entertainment at racing venues throughout Kentucky, Illinois, Ohio, and Tennessee.
