This is one of the best paying Modified races of the year anywhere and southeast Kansas is in range of a lot of Modifieds. It pays $10,000 to win and $1000 to start the A-main, $700 to start the B, $500 to start the C and $350[/b] for starting a last chance race on the final day. Entry fee $250 or $300 at the gate.

They got 'em coming from Louisiana, south Texas, New Mexico, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Montana, even a pair from Saskatchewan that want to be "King of America". Could use a few more! Need Illinois, Indiana or Kentucky maybe???

Quite an interesting mix of drivers so far:

Brad Buck -- a top ten finisher out of 93 cars at the Doug Murphrey Memorial in 2012 -- is the lone representative from the Razorback State so far...he's from Paragould in northeast Arkansas.

Masen Big Eagle and Joey Galloway from Manor, Saskatchewan, Canada have entered! That's 1100 miles & 17 hours folks. And a third Saskatchewan driver from Estevan -- Aaron Turnbill -- comes from almost as far away. But they might not even have the longest tow because Chad Johnson from Great Falls, Montana has entered and according to mapquest, he's 20 hours away at 1349 miles!

Steve Whiteaker, Jr. from the South Texas coast is returning for another shot at a KoA crown and Jeff Allgayer is also making a 12 hour tow from down that way. Shane Hebert -- a regular representative from the Cajun Country of south Louisiana at USMTS shows like this -- has also entered.

Teenager 'Cool Hand Luke' -- Lucas Schott -- is part of a group of ELEVEN racers coming down from MINNESOTA so far!

Oklahoma's Eddie Martin would look good in a cape & crown, don't you think? He's entered & I know he'll gladly put in on for $10,000! Texas has 6 entries so far and Louisiana & New Mexico have 5 each. Louisiana possibly has 6 as Brian Craighead has entered 2 Skyrockets with a 'TBA' in the #61.

Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and of course the home state of Kansas are all well represented including Late Model star Al Purkey from Coffeyville!
