ONE WEEK to go until the 3rd annual World Modified Dirt Track Championship at Deer Creek Speedway in southeast Minnesota! Have you entered yet?
$20,000 TO WIN!!! $1500 to start A main and 30 cars qualify for the A-main! 31 positions indicated on the entry form for the A-main but not sure who gets 31st starting spot. You can enter for $300 IF you enter BEFORE midnight on Saturday July 20th. Just tell 'em Hook's sent ya! Mulligans are $100 extra. Again this year, you could try this as just a 2-day show on Fri-Sat, July 26th & 27th and skip buying the mulligan. The E main -- that's EEEE main -- pays $500 to start. That means at least 93 teams will go home with at least $500 back. The B-main pays $750 to start and with an A-main paying $1500 to start, $6000 for 3rd, $10,000 for 2nd and $20,000 to win, sure seems worth a tow and a $300 entry fee on a 2-day show to me no matter who the competition is! Last I heard, they only had about 55 entries or so.
But if you have the time and can get there Wed or Thur, July 24th & 25th, this has to be worth an extra $100 for the mulligan too in case you have bad luck on the first night. Practice is Tuesday night. Extra laps on any track sure can't hurt.
And then there's the facility too! No question that Deer Creek Speedway is one of the best in the entire country!!!
