Richmond Raceway adjusts Schedule of Events for Saturday Night’s Season Opener
RICHMOND, KY (March 28, 2011)-With the advancement of the University of Kentucky into the NCAA Final Four, Richmond Raceway officials have adjusted their schedule of events for Saturday Night’s season opener so those True Blue Fans have the opportunity to see the game.
Activities for Saturday Night, April 2 will now get underway with Pit Gates opening at 3:30 pm followed by Grandstand Gates at 4:30 pm. A mandatory drivers meeting will also take place 4:30 pm with hot laps beginning at 5:00 pm.
Ticket prices in the grandstand area will be $10 for adults and $3 for kids age 6-12. Pit passes are $20 for adults and $5 for kids age 6-12. Kids under age 6 are admitted FREE on either side.
In action will be the Open Wheel Modifieds in a 25-lap; $600 to win A-Main, the Sportsman in 25-lap; $400 to win A-Main, the Road Hogs in a 15-lap; $150 to win A-Main, and the Four Cylinders in a 10-lap; $100 to win A-Main. Late Models are welcome for practice.
The Test & Tune scheduled for Friday Night, April 1 is still on. Gates will open at 5:00 pm with testing from 6:00 pm through 10:00 pm. The Grandstand area will be open with FREE admission. A Pit Pass will be $10 for adults and $3 for kids age 6-12; Kids under age 6 are admitted FREE.
