Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series at Moler June 24 and Florence June 25
Glasgow, KY-June 12, 2016 (www.americanmodifiedseries.com)- The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series officials and racers are set to return to action with a weekend doubleheader of racing action as the tour will visit Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH on Friday June 24 and conclude the weekend on Saturday June 25 at Florence Speedway in Union, KY. Both events will feature 30 lap A-Mains that will pay $1,500 to win and $200 to start.
The Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series will visit Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH on Friday June 24 and the tour will be in action in a complete program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win/$200 to start L&M Performance 30 A-Main event. Other divisions joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in action at Moler Raceway Park on Friday June 24 will be the track’s Late Models, Crazy Compacts, Sport Mod, and Freedom 4 divisions. Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50 and, per UMP DirtCar rules for Modifieds, there is NO grooving of tires and the legal tire compounds are A40, A40S, and H40 only.
The doubleheader weekend will conclude on Saturday June 25 at Florence Speedway in Union, KY, with the tour in action in a complete program of practice, A-B group time trials, qualifying heats, B Mains, and the 30 lap, $1,500 to win/$200 to start A-Main contest. Joining the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series in action at Florence Speedway on Saturday June 25 will be the track’s Super Late Model ($2,000 to win), UMP Pure Stocks, and UMP Hornets. Entry fee for the Summit Racing Equipment American Modified Series is $50 and, per UMP DirtCar rules for Modifieds, there is NO grooving of tires and the legal tire compounds are A40, A40S, and H40 only.
Activities for the Friday June 24 event at Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH will see the pit area and general admission areas open at 4:30 p.m., with the drivers meeting set for 6:45 p.m. Practice will begin at 7:15 p.m., with time trials and green flag racing following immediately after practice. All times listed are EDT. Ticket prices for the June 24 event at Moler Raceway Park in the general admission area will be $18 for adults, children ages 6 to 10 will be $5, and children ages 5 and under FREE with a paid adult. A pit pass will cost $35.
