FASTRAK to adjust format for Screven season ending Championship race.
"Several of our teams have said they would like to see a new format" said Stan Lester of FASTRAK. "We try to listen to our teams and although I disagree with them on this one, we am still willing to try and see if we are not seeing something they are. As long as it still brings the competitive racing we always see in the FASTRAK late model series events because our fans are happy as well, then we will consider it for 2018".
There will be 2 groups, A and B then divided into heats from there. "if this format makes the racing terrible with no passing, then its over. "If the racing is still great as always, that's good for everyone concerned. The teams just need to remember, this isn't all about them. Its about our fans as well. Its our job to provide a good value for the fans entertainment dollar and if you have 100 cars and no fans, well you are still a failure. It takes all of us to make this successful".
