Hell, Pierce hit a tire on the inside of the track at one point. Kid is talented but he is gonna have to learn to work other grooves and definitely he needs to calm down but that will come with age.

Another fact for beginners. Between Scott , Billy , and Birky I have to say The cornfields of Iowa produce the greatest drivers the dirt has ever seen. I'm a WV hillbilly so I have to throw The rocket man in the mix for chits and giggles

In that particular race like you even said the top was the fastest way around the track so, why would Bobby be on the bottom. My point is if you would have watched Bobby throughout his career like some of us have you would know that he can run and win on the bottom just as well as the top plus he can beat drivers like Bloomer, Moyer, Owens, O'neal ect.ect. I will give you credit though you have admitted the kid has talent. I know you know that a driver will set up a car to run either on the top or the bottom or the driver will figure out during the race where their car runs best and run that line or even change lines during the race. I have seen bobby start on the bottom and end up on the top and start on the top and end up on the bottom. For kid that has only been in a super since 15 or 16 I would say for what he has done he has turned some heads wouldn't you.
