I never got in the tire doping discussion because it blossomed so quickly, but I'm not clear, or at least in agreement, with the drivers themselves being banned. I get it in the case of a Bloomquist, who knows every little detail of his car/program, but does Brandon Sheppard really know if his tires are doped or not? Maybe I'm just naive. Obviously someone needs to be held accountable. At least NASCAR goes after the crew chief the hardest because they are undoubtedly responsible for infractions.

Even though he was light and it wouldn't have mattered , the scales should have been certified......and they weren't.Right?
