Its probably close to that or more for me between atomic, the old southern, prp, and God knows where else. I seen him run his own son Rod off the back stretch last year at atomic to win, he definitely still has the fire of a 20 year old. He's always the man to beat at atomic on a weekly basis, i know hes won once if not twice this. I just hope to be alive at 74, let alone driving a race car.

Did anyone else notice the Chassis brands that where up front? A couple name brands missing. Barry Wright, Kriptonite and Swartz.

The conleys have been hit and miss since they got their XR1's. The one that seems to be struggling the most is Rj. I know his main helper moved on to another job, seems like he hasn't been the same since.

Linville was all over every inch of Boggs' fuel cell. I don't think he ever really hit him hard enough to bend the quarters though. Good car control on his part.

Other than the Conleys, every regular there is a Swartz. We went there about a month ago or so, and was the only non-Swartz car in the top 10. (Delmas didn't finish that night)

I just noticed and thought about the chassis brand followers here. Seems, who wrenches on it and who drives it is more important that what it is. Smart goes fast.

I couldn't agree more. With the one caveat, smart and talent behind the wheel goes fast.

Yeah he was all up in guts but them guys are buds Dustin could've moved him several times but he's s good dude.

Pretty slick track the top went away during mod heats wish they would've reworked it but Sunday night I didn't get home till 12:30 and it was competitive at least once they caught lap cars. I think Steve Francis climbed 9 or 10 spots

Devin Moran proved that his dad still has it. Donnie was always the master of the dry slick track and set that car up just right. The heat races were pretty decent with everybody running the cushion since they watered the top of the track. But by feature time it locked down for the most part, Moran was still able to use any groove to get around the lapped cars and Dustin Linville made it a little interesting when he was using the top to pass a few cars to get up to forth and had a faster car than Jackie but Jackie used the whole track and Linville couldn't get around him. Tyler Carpenter ran a good race. Congrats to Devin Moran on the win and Tyler Carpenter for the runner up finish.

Devin Moran had a Donnie Moran type night, very fast, strait, smooth, never touched anything all night. Had late cautions and just drove away from Carpenter and Boggs every restart. Sounded professional in victory lane too. I was kinda impressed.

Kind of ironic how Boggs cried 2 nights earlier about how the cushion ruined the racing. "Them there boys get up on that berm and just tear them there motors up. I like a slick track" was his excuse. Wasn't PRP to his liking?

I just finished watching the highlights on DoD and noticed that as well. Those Swartz cars have been running very well this year. Tim Dohm won that WoO race and Jackie Boggs has been having a very good season.

With all the talk about big money ruining the sport, it's nice to see the smaller chassis builders having some good results. I'd like to see how they'd stack up with a top driver/team competing on the national tours. I wouldn't be surprised if they did quite well. That Carpenter kid seems to have a lot of potential. It'll be interesting to see how he does in those K cars once he has some more experience.

I'm telling you guys and you can you heard it here first but I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see Devin take the Oshows spot as the Barry Wright house car driver. The kid keeps impressing everyone in the stands. To me his style is almost an exact mirror image of Bloomquist. He keeps the car straight, he works multiple grooves but he will not pound the cushion and he usually passes very clean. If I'm Barry, I'm making the call to Donnie to try and set this deal up. Someone started a thread about who people thought could be the next Bloomquist after Scott retired and I'm thinking I'm gonn have that 99m shirt on. He is gonna win a ton of races fellas. Mark it
