He doesnt own Potomac but myself and many others ive talked to wishes he did. He promotes Potomac but the family that owns Potomac also owns the motocross next doors (not sure about the drag strip). Potomac is a nice track but could definitely use a facelift. I heard a rumor that Raye Vest made an offer years ago but the family wouldn't budgeOriginally posted by BTExpress View PostThat might not be a bad thing if Gunter bought it as far as Hagerstown and Winchester working together, but doesn't he already own Potomac which currently runs on Friday's? Maybe they run Limiteds at Potomac with specials for the SLM's?

Rumor that I heard was Trump is trying to secure a loan from a Russian bank to purchase Hagerstown. If he can show he won't default on the payments and is successful at securing the financing he will then hire Dirtman to run the day to day operations!! Hagerstown will be great again!

I can't imagine Greg would own two tracks that compete with each other on Friday nights. Either Potomac would have to run Sundays (or Hagerstown) or more than likely he will only own one of them and all the rumors I've heard leave Potomac as the odd track out.Originally posted by kartracer44 View PostI'm just going by what I was told I was told the jt spence and his father will promote Winchester Greg will promote Hagerstown and the Denise will promote Potomac
Thanks,

I kind of agree. Pure location hurts Potomac. If Hagerstown & Winchester had the same owner, it would only help DLM racing in the Mid-Atlantic region. Could run different nights with the same set of rules, officials, purse structure etc. They truly would become "sister" tracks. You could set up a shared point fund, run the same divisions on a weekly basis, and schedule bigger shows for each track without conflicts. Capital improvements such as new clay for Hagerstown would only be a plus for everyone:, drivers, owners and the fans.

Yeah im not sure how that would benefit either track. Potomac doesn't run supers every week so unless they ran classes odd weeks at 1 track and even at another 1, both tracks would suffer. Could be good having all 3 tracks work together like hes done with Potomac and Winchester lately. Personally I think Friday nights have hurt Potomac for a while now considering its a work day and traffic on Friday afternoons is insane
