When they finished the B Mains, I was wondering if they where going to farm the track. It looked like a potential rubbered up, no passing mess, but to my surprise, a 22 start to win was a real race. It wasn't quite as good as Friday night, but still a great race and not much dust. Eldora gets 3 atta boys this week.Comment

I thought the track was excellent Friday and Saturday. Saturday was kinda reminiscent to the Earl days to me.
I didn't know how it was gonna turn out without them doing much work to it. I bet they were expecting to get dumped on and decided not to dig it up Friday night, which played out pretty well I think for them.Comment

I was talking to the guy attending the Speedy camping north gate on Friday morning and the topic of the track came up. Take it for what it is worth but he told me that they brought in a chemist to analyze the water in the pond which they used to water the track. The conclusion was that the pond had too much algae in it which was causing the soil to dry out. Eldora subsequently drilled a well and now use that for track watering.Comment
